Organic Agricultural Activities

Coorg Organization for Rural Development (CORD) has been actively promoting organic agricultural practices among rural communities as part of its sustainable development initiatives. CORD conducted a series of training workshops on organic farming techniques, including composting, natural pest control, crop rotation, and seed saving. These workshops were attended by farmers from various villages, providing them with practical knowledge and skills to transition to organic agriculture. CORD's organic agricultural activities have made significant strides in promoting sustainable farming practices, improving livelihoods, and safeguarding environmental and community health. By empowering farmers with the knowledge and resources to transition to organic agriculture, CORD is contributing to the creation of resilient and thriving rural communities committed to sustainable development.
